About our school
Established in 1981, Goollelal Primary School is situated 20 kilometres north of Perth in the suburb of Kingsley and caters for approximately 250 students from Kindergarten through to Year 6. Students at Goollelal Primary School relate to each other exceptionally well and visitors are constantly impressed by the friendly and peaceful atmosphere at the school.

Parents have a high expectation of academic performance and the school is proud of its results in national assessment programs. Goollelal Primary School students consistently perform at or above the average in these assessments and the school has a reputation for high achievement.

Goollelal Primary School’s Sharing, Caring and Learning motto is embedded in all of the school’s practices.

TA13’s Year 5 and 6 students have been drafting and performing debates as part of a fictional federal parliament, known as The Sugar Commonwealth. This bill argued whether every suburb should have a police station.

Term Planner
Term Planners are available for download prior to the start of each term. A notification via our smartphone app will be sent when a new term’s planner is available for download, or if significant changes have been made to the current term planner.

 Assembly Roster 
Assemblies are usually held fortnightly on Fridays from 8:50am. This document outlines the planned assembly dates for this year, and the classes who are performing at each.

The Goollelal School App

Designed for the community of Goollelal Primary School, our app provides easy access to sought after information such as our newsletter, canteen menu and recent term planner. Parents and students can choose to get notifications for specific year levels or classrooms. The school can also send push notifications to all users of the app or certain groups.  A great way to stay informed!

How to Subscribe to our Email List

Using the Skoolbag Communication Centre app found under the Skoolbag tab, select Sign-Up and enter your name and email address.

How to Install the Goollelal Skoolbag App on your Smartphone
iPhone and iPad users

goollelal-applestoreFor iPhone and iPad users:

  1. Click on the “App Store” icon on your Apple device.
  2. Type “Goollelal” in the search.
  3. You will see our school appear. Click “Get” then “install”.
  4. The app is FREE to download.
  5. When installed click “Open”.
  6. Select “OK” to receive push notifications, when asked.
  7. Click the “More” button on the bottom right of the App, then “Setup”.
  8. Toggle on the Push Categories that are applicable for you by tapping the on/off switch.

 

Android users

You must first have signed up with a Google Account before installing the app.

  1. Click on the “Play Store” icon on your Android device.
  2. Click the magnifying glass icon at the top and type in “Goollelal”.
  3. Click on our school name when it appears in the search.
  4. Click the “Install” button.
  5. Click “Accept” for various permissions (please note, we do not modify any of your personal data on your device).
  6. Click “Open” when installed.
  7. Click the “More” button on the bottom right of the App, then “Setup”.
  8. Toggle on the Push Categories that are applicable for you by tapping the on/off switch.

Please note: Some brands of Android phones need the meeting in “Notification Manager” changed to “Allow” instead of “Notify” in order for the push notifications to work. The phone must also be running at least version 4 system software to run the app.

 

Windows Device users

  1. Go to the Windows Store on your 8.1 Windows phone or Windows 8.1/10 device.
  2. Search for “Skoolbag” in the keyword app search.
  3. Install the Skoolbag app.
  4. Find Goollelal either by using the keyword search or location service.
  5. Click the “Pin” icon to pin the school tile to your Windows Phone home screen.
  6. Click the “More” button on the bottom right of the App, then “Setup”.
  7. Toggle on the Push Categories that are applicable for you by tapping the on/off switch.

Please note: The Skoolbag Windows App is for 8.1 version Windows Phones, or Windows 8.1 and 10 devices.
